Behind the scenes with my Short-eared Owl

My inspiration and possibly some rambling about my process

Back in 2020 a friend and local birder, Carl Giometti, shared a photo on Instagram that made my jaw drop. It was of a Short-eared Owl sitting amongst grasses, so well camouflaged they essentially blended in with the scenery.
